Day Forty Eight

The Xbox competition is officially over! Thank you those… checks notes two people that joined 😂 and congratulations to Cearáj for winning!

I am going to have to come up with some other way of grabbing details from people who want to join. At least one person didn’t submit because they didn’t read, and honestly yeah - relying on players reading anything is shaky at best. I have once again learned that big bold text doesn’t work. Well, this is a learning process I guess!

There were many things for me to learn this competition. Mostly, though, I learned not to rely on events from Xbox actually, you know, being promoted in any way that matters 🫠 I will continue to be mad about that til the day I die.

In terms of actual game dev, there were some issues with a few of the triangle’s patterns, and there’s a little bit of extra functionality I added to bulletfury that I’m honestly surprised wasn’t already there. You’ll see in Wednesday’s gif!

What’s next?

Tomorrow I’m going to submit a final-ish version of the demo to Xbox, and add it to steam too. Then, more content is on the way :)
