Day Twenty Six

Argh, the day job got in the way today - plus some unexpected house stuff has meant I didn’t have the 4 hours I’d hoped to spend on this today, it was more like 1 😂 either tomorrow or this weekend I’ll have a really good chunk to work on this. Plus from July, I won’t be working at all on Wednesdays, which will be lovely.

I’m currently sorting out the Xbox competition that I’ll be hosting in the middle of July. Stay tuned for more info, and join the mailing list at the bottom of the page to be the first to know! For now, here’s a sneak peek at the prize:

I’m still not 100% certain on the design - if you’ve got any thoughts on it please do let me know. There are a bunch of options for colours on the buttons, and for the thumbsticks, d-pad, and triggers, but I felt like it was too much. This is a nice, clean, minimalist look that suits the game well I feel.

Also, if you’re on the Discord server - I’ll be closing the pride competition on Friday. If you want to get some more points for your team, submit your new logos quickly! The winner will be decided at 4pm BST on Friday 23rd June, and their logo will be used as the server icon and the Wayfarer Games Twitter account til 1st July.

What’s next?

I’d like a good chunk of time to get a first draft of the Triangle Twins out, but if timings don’t work out, tomorrow & Friday will be spent adding the compeitition splash screen and finialising the final version of the public demo.
