Day Sixty Six

2/3rd of the way through the challenge - there’s thirty four days left to go, a little over a month. The game feels so much more complete, and is a lot further on than when I started this challenge. I didn’t even have the hexagon done before starting, which now feels like an age ago. I’ve finished two bosses in 66% of the time available, and I’ve got another 3 to finish, which means that by my calculations… crap, I’ve got to get working huh! 😂 It’s not actually that bad, I’ve already started the others and there were huge chunks of time during the middle of this challenge that were dedicated to general game stuff.

I’ve also got a whole 4 hours a week extra to work on it over the next month, which adds up to a whopping 16 extra hours 🎉 I’m also taking a full week off closer to the end of the challenge, which should be a more reasonable 40 extra hours.

In other news, the alpha is going well - lots of bugs found and lots of bugs squashed already, we’re already up to a third patch. They are all relatively quick fixes, which is nice - gives me something to do and a bunch to tick off my list on the days where I spend most of my time at the day job.

What’s next?

The Heptagram boss! And more fixes for the current levels, though I think I’m going to prioritise the next level for the next few days.
