Day Sixty Nine
Today I barely even spent 30 minutes during my lunch break on the game, which is not a lot of time to Get Stuff Done 😂 I designed most of the heptagram’s intro screen, and while I was walking to and from the office, did a bit of planning.
By day 75 (17th August), the Heptagram needs to be pretty much done, and in alpha. That’s a hard deadline I’m setting for myself, because we’re so close with the content now I can smell the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m mixing my metaphors there I know, but give me a break my brain is dead ;)
Alongside that, I need to sort the public Steam beta and get a final draft of the new trailer done. This is final marketing steps now, I’ve also gotta spend a bunch of time writing emails and getting that sort of thing finished up. It’s going to be a real month, so if I am a little unresponsive on Discord that’s why! I likely won’t be responding to DMs that aren’t urgent for a bit, and I’m going to mute a few of the other bigger servers I’m in.
Just 30 more days. Only 30. Then I’m free.
Kinda.
Except for the actual release, all the post release fixes, some post release kickstarter backer-created content, and inevitably a bunch of press and marketing work.
What’s next?
A full day (okay, probably about 5-6 hours) of work on the Heptagram.
