Day Eighteen
Today was pretty busy with life, but I still managed to get a good amount of the beta feedback addressed. The biggest issue to fix was… the googly eyes cheat code was broken 🫠 there’s a new beta build that restores the googly eyes, so all is well with the world again.
I’ve also looked at a few notes from a bunch of different sources - some new players mentioned that they felt it was too easy to get hit multiple times in a row, so I’ve increased the invincibility timer after you get hit. The health for the mini triangles during the hexagon boss fight gets a little bit lost with how busy the screen gets, so I’ve made it so it follows the triangles. You can see that below!
What’s next?
I’m pretty much done with the beta feedback. It was incredibly useful to get everyone’s thoughts, and I’ll send out another build tomorrow with even more fixes, but it’s broadly complete now.
I’ve got some prep work to do for a big event next month, but the majority of my time is now going to be spent on the next boss - the triangle twins. This one should be fun to work on since it’s a double feature!
